Most of us are planning our New Year’s resolutions for 2015, and, if you’re like most people, one of them has something to do with living a healthier lifestyle. I’m absolutely one of those people. That being said, I’m horrible at finding the motivation to start diets/working out regularly. Once I get past the initial hump, I’m crazy-dedicated, but, until then, I’m worthless. That’s actually a huge reason I did a cleanse at the beginning of this year. I would try to run and eat salads for a few days, but I’d be right back to Thin Mints in no time. After the cleanse, I stuck with it until after my vacation fell through at the end of July. Intense.
With literally the perfect timing ever, Rue La La just started a BluePrint Cleanse sale! (If you’re not already a member, here’s a free signup link!) You can choose from 3 days ($149.99 – regularly $195.00), 5 days ($249.99 – regularly $325.00), or 9 days ($439.00 – regularly $535.00). When I did mine, I purchased two 3-day cleanses (excavation level), and I thought it was great, so I’m going with the 5-day cleanse. Keep in mind, for a few days before and after, you really should only eat veggies, so if you can’t live without chocolate for 15 days, 9 might be too long.
If you’re seriously considering the cleanse and have any questions, please feel free to shoot me an email. I’m happy to help if I can! preppy delight[at]gmail[dot]com. One question I was asked a lot after my first cleanse was if it was just as effective to buy them at your grocery store. The answer is no. I’ve read that, while they’re still healthy if you buy them there (vitamins are always good!), they don’t pack the same cleansing punch. That’s why BPC overnights them, keeps them as cold as possible without freezing, and tells you to drink them right away (aka if they arrive Monday, start Monday and finish Wednesday).
