I had another post scheduled for today, but when I saw the announcement email from Kiel James Patrick, I knew I had to share. As if you don’t already own everything they create – scallop button down, boat shoes, and bracelets – they’ve now stepped up their game yet again and created the cutest Anchor Hats, $48. The adjustable leather strap on the back is what separates this from every other preppy hat on the market. It’s really all in the details, isn’t it? Plus, it comes in a wide array of colors, so you’re sure to find one you love. Anyone else thinking Christmas gifts?
By now, you know I love Black Watch tartan. (My obsession is legit, though. I’m Scottish.) Recently, whilst procrastinating at work browsing Instagram, I noticed Barrington Gifts released a new Black Watch Collection. And you guessed it, I’m obsessed. They’ve got totes ($145-195) , duffles ($225-275) , accessory cases ($42-85), shoe bags ($85), and a laptop sleeve ($100). WASPs everywhere can rejoice, because now you don’t need to make a trip to Edinburg to get your fix. Or still do that. And bring me, please!
The Jack Rogers faithful everywhere will simply adore today’s Delight of the Day – the Jack Rogers Charm Necklace, $38. We all love our Navajos, and now we can display our affection in another way – with this adorable necklace available in three different metals. Gold not your color? Don’t worry; they made silver and rose gold. Have too much Tiffany silver already? No problem. Now the only problem is deciding which to order!
I’ve always been super partial to
giving Blair a run for her money headbands, and I’ve just recently gotten into bows. Sometimes, I just don’t feel like putting a ton of effort into doing my hair (it’s crazy long, okay?), and headbands and bows let me have a put-together look without requiring too much thought. What’s not to love?
So when Gina Made It approached me about their shop, I knew I had to share it with you. The lovely ladies sent me my very own Velvet Headband and Gingham Bun Bow to test out, and I adore them. I’m happy to report that after a whole day of wearing the pretty blue headband, I didn’t have even a hint of a headband headache. (And, if you wear headbands regularly, you know what a big deal that is!) I also loved the Bun Bow. The back of my head sometimes get a little sore from having a barrette pushed up against it all day when I wear a bow under my bun, but Gina Made It’s genius design uses elastic that you can actually wrap around your bun. Brilliant!
I would definitely recommend checking out their website and adding a few to your collection. They’re adorable (so many color/pattern options!), they’re comfortable, and, at $24 per headband and $28 per bow, they’re all reasonably priced! Is anyone else thinking stocking stuffers?
Preps love patterns. Stripes, chevron, anchors – we just can’t enough. So when Amanda from Malabar Bay contacted me about hosting a giveaway, I jumped on the chance. If you haven’t already checked them out, you definitely should. They sell a wide range of things, from lunch boxes to tote bags to pajama pants. (Side note: they’re the sister company of one of my favorite decor brands – Jayes Studio.)
One lucky winner will receive their very own Dopp Kit in Nautical Knot! For your chance to win, follow the Rafflecopter’s directions! Please make sure you do all of the mandatory requirements. This giveaway will run through next Sunday, December 23. Good luck! (Here’s a mobile-friendly link.)
Today’s Delight of the Day is the Collins Flat from Tahari, $39.99. I ordered a pair very similar to this one last fall, and they’re my go-to flat. They make every outfit look perfectly polished. Plus, they’re great for nights out with friends and the office. Delightful.
Still looking for gifts? Check out my gift guides: $25 and under, $75 and under, $125 and under, $250 and under.
Today’s Delight of the Day is the Tablet Case from Sloane Ranger, $23. I’ve been keeping it on the DL until now, but I am the lucky winner of an iPad 2 through Sloane Ranger!! How amazing is that? I’ve wanted one for so long but have been kind of hesitant about spending the money. This came as the perfect blessing.
As if giving me an iPad weren’t enough, Sloane Ranger has also sent me one of their Anchor Tablet Cases, which is today’s Delight of the Day. They have so many great patterns, but you know my penchant for anchors, so this was the obvious choice for me!
If you haven’t already checked out Sloane Ranger, I highly suggest you do. They sell everything from phone cases to clutches to umbrellas, and they’re all absolutely adorable. The best part? It’s all extremely reasonably priced. Yay!

Today’s Delight of the Day is the Bradshaw Chronograph Watch from Michael Kors, $134. I love the rose gold watches from MK, but the oversized ones are waaay too big for my wrist. I like the leather band on this particular model; it makes it so timeless!
Edit: It has been brought to my attention that this watch sold out today! Imagine the luck. While I can’t find this exact watch, I found one with a snake skin leather band here.
Today’s Delights of the Day are Organza Bow Clutches from Etsy, $58. I love all of the color options! There are so many choices, so you’re guaranteed to find one that would match your favorite outfit. Personally, the ivory one with the navy bow is my favorite, and I have a few dresses that I think would look so super adorable. Which is your favorite?
