Delight of the Day 11/7

If you follow me on Twitter, you know I spent my evening last night browsing the Nordstrom Fall Clearance Sale. There were a lot of awesome steals on designer goods (I finally ordered a Burberry scarf, and my favorite Christmas present from last year is on major sale!), and there were a lot of inexpensive stocking stuffers for my friends and fam. I thought I’d share some of my favorite steals with you!

p.s. Don’t forget about the Talbots Friends & Family sale! Time to stock up on cashmere sweaters.

Delight of the Day 10/19

talbots

I mentioned a few ago that I have a new obsession with Talbots. They are quickly replacing the place in my heart that was previously reserved for J.Crew’s basics. So when I saw that they were having a sale for 30-40% off some of my favorites, I knew I had to share. I adore this Collared Breton Strip Sweater ($38.99) and this Plaid Henley ($35.99)! Scroll below to see some of my other fav steals.

Homecoming Attire

Homecoming

For the first time since I graduated (it’s been four years already – yikes!), I’m going to homecoming! I’ve considered going a few times, but bad weather and work have always gotten in the way. This year, I made a resolution to finally make my way back. I love Pittsburgh – especially in autumn. Now, I know you Southern girls are shaking your heads wondering where my sundress and bows are, but we do it a little differently up North. Mostly because it’s freezing. Find my Game Day essentials below:

J.Crew – The Always List

I don’t know about you, but when I opened J.Crew’s latest catalog this week, I thought, “Yay, they’re finally listening!” The Always List is perfection. Everything is timeliness and very reminiscent of the J.Crew days of old. What’s are your thoughts? Are they back on the right track, or is it too late?

Added bonus: take 25% off of everything online with code {SHOPNOW}!

Delight of the Day 9/15

Louboutin

I know everyone loves booties for fall, but I’ve been a very reluctant convert. My mom always had them growing up, and they kind of always had a witchy feel to me. Perfection for Halloween parties, but not something I’d wear every day. Then I saw these beauties from Christian Louboutin, and realized they weren’t all so bad. Only problem? I can’t justify spending 1,000 dollars on a pair of booties.

Alas, my brief flirtation with booties was finished. Until I went shopping this weekend. This adorable sales associate had on the cutest booties, so I had to ask her where she got them. She told me they were Clarks. I was shocked, because I think of Clarks as sort of a granola company with comfortable shoes, but not necessarily the cutest. Well, I stand corrected. And at $140, these are much more in my price range.

Nordstrom Clearance Sale

I posted about a bunch of sales last weekend, but I keep coming back to the Nordstrom Clearance Sale. Some of our favorite brands are 40% right now! Tory Burch, Kate Spade, Burberry that you can actually afford? Yes, please! While you’re there, you can also check out some of my fall favorites:

Delight of the Day 9/3

I had another post scheduled for today, but when I saw the announcement email from Kiel James Patrick, I knew I had to share. As if you don’t already own everything they create – scallop button down, boat shoes, and bracelets – they’ve now stepped up their game yet again and created the cutest Anchor Hats, $48. The adjustable leather strap on the back is what separates this from every other preppy hat on the market. It’s really all in the details, isn’t it? Plus, it comes in a wide array of colors, so you’re sure to find one you love. Anyone else thinking Christmas gifts?

Delight of the Day 8/18

At the beginning of this year, I stumbled upon the best (read: most affordable) weekender bag ever. However, a week after I shared it, it sold out. Cue devastation across the country. Good news, ladies (and gents)! It’s back. Sole Society‘s weekender bag, $84.95, is the perfect size for long weekends in the Finger Lakes/wherever else you’re dragging your besties for Labor Day Weekend. It fit all of this stuff with room to spare.

$84.95 sounds like a good deal, right? But doesn’t $67.95 sound even better? Here’s how to do it. Sign up with this link; you’ll get a popup with a 20% code. (Tip: you have to sign up with a new email address. If you already have an account, try another email.) Then use this direct link to the bag itself.
