Delight of the Day 10/30

I’ve been on a serious Kiel James Patrick kick lately, and I’m not complaining. I finally purchased the Starboard Belt (Lucky Sailor) and couldn’t possibly be any happier. (Even the boy, who was super offended that I’d spend $85 on a belt, loves it!) Of course, a week after I placed my order, they released a new line of bow bracelets – hence today’s Delight of the Day. I’m loving the American Scott and the Starboard Sailor. Which are your favorites?

Delight of the Day 10/24

I’ve written about Flyover Press before – back when they first got started. I was thrilled to when Nick told me that they’re doing so well. Who doesn’t want a great company with American made goods to succeed? Nick also led me to their latest addition to the product line, which is today’s Delight of the Day. The Born in the USA Long-Sleeve T-Shirt, $28, is a must have for any great ‘Merican. Available in Navy, Sky Blue, and Gray, these shirts are a great way to let everyone know you love America without being over the top. (Not that I’m against that. I wear my Chubbies’ ‘Mericas very proudly.) If you haven’t already clicked “Add to Cart,” hopefully this will convince you: all Preppy Delight readers can score 10% off plus a free koozie and stickers with code {PREPPYDELIGHT}!

Kate Spade Friends and Family Sale

Eep! It’s that time of the year again! Kate Spade is one of my absolute favorites. Not only was the founder a Kappa, butttt they have, hands down, the BEST handbags out there. I’m also falling in love with their clothes, shoes, jewelry, home line – pretty much everything they offer. But, in all seriousness, they will always be my go-to for leathers bags, wallets, and clutches. So when I saw they were offering 30% off the whole site, I did my usual happy dance and decided to share my favorites with you!

Delight of the Day 10/15

I love tall boots. As soon as Sperry/Jack Rogers season is over, I essentially live in them. Frye, Ralph Lauren, Hunter, Tory Burch – you name them, I love them. However, the price tags can get a little steep, which is why I always like to have a less expensive pair on hand for nights out and casual Fridays in the office.

Hence, today’s Delight of the Day – Target’s Kasia Leather Riding Boot, $74.99. (p.s. Download Target’s Cartwheel app for 20% off. That brings these gems down to $59.99. So affordable!) The quality of these is pretty great considering the price, and they’re priced at a point where I’m not going to be super protective of them and refuse to go into certain bars while wearing them. (I told you. I really love my leather boots.) Since I already have two pairs of chocolate brown boots, a pair of black boots, and a pair of black with brown accents, I opted for the tan. You can wear these with pretty much anything, so you’ll get even more bang for your buck! How can you say no?

Delight of the Day 10/14

Today’s Delight of the Day is the Jacquard Back Cutout Dress from The Limited, $69.99. I absolutely adore this color for fall, and the fabric is beautiful. I ordered it on a whim with a promo code last week {always be on the look out for promos with them}, so I think I ended up paying about $45 for it, and it was well worth the money. I think it’s going to be the dress I wear to my Big’s wedding!

p.s. It does run a little large, so you may want to order a size down.

Delight of the Day 10/11

Today’s Delight of the Day is the most adorable pair of flats. Ever. Brooks Brother’s Tartan Bow Slippers, $88, are absolutely perfect. Nothing says fall to me quite like tartan, so, naturally, I’m going to love a pair of wool tartan slippers. Plus, that bow! Eep!

(Please note that these are girls’ shoes, but I found this conversion on Zappos so that we big girls can order them, too!)

p.s. Don’t forget that J.Crew Factory is offering 50% off!

Delight of the Day 10/9

Today’s Delight of the Day is yet another Shep Shirt from Vineyard Vines, but come on – this thing is adorable! I love love love that shade of blue, and the pink polka dots are simply the icing on the cake! At $125, it’s a little more expensive than your basic Shep Shirt, butttt I think it’s well worth the extra cash. (You could always wait until a Friends & Family sale, but, I have to warn you, these shirts tend to go quickly!)

Delight of the Day 10/4

Today’s Delight of the Day actually comes thanks to one of my absolute favorite Twitter accounts, @MadrasandPearls. She asked me which color she should get, and while I said pink, now I’m thinking I want them all! The Hacking Jacket from Banana Republic, $150 (but 40% with code BRNEWFALL), is a great update to a classic fall blazer. I just love elbow patches for fall, and all the color options make my heart skip a beat. Which would you choose?

It’s also available in black and burgundy!

Delight of the Day 10/3

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to perceive that I love tartan. While I pretend it’s because I enjoy honoring my Scottish heritage (I really am quite Scottish!), the truth is that I just think it’s an incredible pattern. My favorites? MacKenzie (Modern) and Black Watch, though a good Stuart Hunting Tartan will also do the trick. Naturally, my favorite thing about fall is the introduction of tartan back into my wardrobe. Blazers, skirts, dresses, button downs, headbands, flats, clutches – you name it, I’ve got it. But I’m always on the hunt for a new piece, and I’ve found one in today’s Delight of the Day. This adorable Ruffle Silk Blouse from Ralph Lauren is absolutely incredible. Can’t you just see yourself wearing this, a great hacking blazer, and riding boots walking through the leaves with a cute boy? Yep, I knew it.

If you’re a petite, you can purchase it at Macy‘s for about $86, and, for the rest of us, it’s at Lord & Taylor’s for $109 – though they are offering a 20% off promotion right now (enter SHOP at checkout), so it’s about $87.

p.s. Update: you can get it right from Ralph Lauren, on sale for $85. You’re welcome!
