Delight of the Day 2/28

Anchors

I’m sure you’ve all already noticed, but J.Crew’s (and J.Crew Factory’s) spring line is perfection. I’m absolutely loving all the preppy pieces. Case in point: the Anchor Print Scoopneck Button Blouse, $68 (but 25% off with code MOREPLEASE). Even the button have little anchors on them! How stinkin’ cute is that? I love it tucked into to some colorful denim or into a skirt for a more work-appropriate look. What would you pair it with?

Delight of the Day 2/26

skirt

Today’s Delight of the Day is the Printed Pocket Skirt from J.Crew Factory, currently $31.00 (which, I believe, ends today). I love anything with anchors on it, and I adore skirts (soon it will be spring, and I can wear them again! yay!), so this was an obvious choice for me. This would look super cute with anything from a blouse (to dress it up) to just a casual t-shirt and some Jacks.

Delight of the Day 2/25

wellie1Today’s Delight of the Day is an amazing pair of Monogrammed Wellies from Lands’ End Canvas, $79.00. We prepsters love our monograms. As Reese Witherspoon said “If it isn’t moving, monogram it!” As such, I’m always searching for new things to monogram, so imagine my surprise when I stumbled upon these adorable rainboots. Don’t get me wrong – I adore my Hunters, but these might be my new favorites. And, today only take 30% off with code “BUDDY” and pin “3026.”

Delight of the Day 2/19

Tumblers

Today’s Delight of the Day is a set of Summer Fun Tervis Tumbers from Vineyard Vines, $55. Thanks to my Southern followers, I’ve been obsessed with Tervis Tumblers for a while now. It’s my mission to turn my Northern pals onto them. They keep your drink hot or cold – depending on what temperate it is. Seriously, how do they know? Anyway, I have a set of Vineyard Vines’ holiday tumberls, so it just makes sense to buy these too, right? I’m partial to the patriotic whale, but all of the characters are super cute. Which is your favorite?

p.s. I think this set would make a perfect host/hostess gift; don’t you?

J.J. Threads Design Your Own Shirt Contest

Pink and PlaidI’m beyond excited to introduce y’all to J.J. Threads, my new go-to for shirts. They have an incredible selection of shirts with some of the best patterns I’ve ever seen. You can even create your own shirt using their interactive design tool! Everything can be customized – from the collar and the cuffs to the placket. (Be prepared to lose a few hours designing. I spent about two hours creating a bunch of different designs until I settled on the three in this post as my favorites!) Plus, all of their shirts are made by expert tailors in Hong Kong who, for an extra $10, take your exact measurements and make the shirt to fit you perfectly. Everything is so personalized that the tailor actually emailed me just to confirm everything and get some extra measurements. How great is that?

Preppy PastelsThey sent me the Pink and Plaid shirt I designed to review for you, and I honestly couldn’t be happier. The quality is incredible; you can see that they put a lot of time and hard work into making these shirts. The fit was absolute perfection. I don’t know about y’all, but I have to have almost everything I buy tailored. Not only does it get expensive, but I have to wait around for the shirt to be ready. The fact that I could simply throw this one in the wash and wear the next day was well worth the additional fee! I love my new shirt so much that I plan on ordering several as gifts for family members whose birthdays are coming up =)

Born in the USAAs if you weren’t already obsessed, J.J. Threads has given you one more reason to love them: a contest giveaway! In order to enter, you’ll need to fill out the Rafflecopter (mobile friendly link) as well as design your own shirt and share the link in a comment on this post. The giveaway will run until Sunday, February 24 at 11:59. Good luck!

p.s. Everyone can take 20% off with code “PDelight”!

Pullover

Today’s Delight of the Day is the perfect casual shirt for the boy in your life – the Heavyweight Slub Jersey Pullover from J.Crew, $49.50 – $59.50, depending on the color.

Pullover2I love the simplicity of this shirt, and you know I can’t get enough stripes in my life. This is one of those shirts you buy for the boyfriend just so you can steal it because you’re a phenomenal girlfriend. Plus, there are three different colors from which to choose, so no matter what color the boys looks good in, you’re set!Pullover3

Delight of the Day 2/14

vixA few weeks ago, I was the winner of The Skinny Confidential‘s Vix by Paula Hermanny Giveaway. I received a pair of sandals and a scarf in their Angora print, plus wrap bracelets. Needless to say, I was pretty pumped. I’ve long since been a fan of Vix’s swimwear (see here, here, and here), but didn’t realize that they offered other items like sandals, scarves (my other fav print), and bracelets. In addition to all of that, they also have super cute coverups for the beach (here, here, and here)! I’m starting to think Vix is going to quickly become my go-to beach brand. St. Bart’s is just calling my name…

p.s. Happy Valentine’s Day! Thanks for all your help with my outfit. I foresee some Instagram pictures in our future =)

Valentine’s Day

vdayIt’s almost Valentine’s Day! Whether you’re spending your evening snuggling with the boy or going out for a night on the town with your other single friends, deciding what to wear on the most romantic day of the is super stressful. If you live in a warmer client, it’s a bit easier, because you can throw on a cute pink Lilly and call it a day. We unfortunates Northerners have it a little more difficult.

So, instead of telling you what I’d suggest, I’m asking YOU, my lovely followers, for help! I have a date with the boy, so I have to look cute, but not too dressy. What are you wearing? What do you recommend?!

p.s. The picture below is my gift suggestion – a refrigerator full of pink Moet!
